The Lineup That Rocked Festival 2019!
In case you missed it (and shame on you if you did!) Las Cruces Country Music Festival 2019 was bigger and better than ever! Friday night started the festival off right with six riveting performances. Local favorite Frank Ray, recording artist and former Las Cruces Police officer, kicked things off on the main stage with the “Today Show” filming his performance. He was also interviewed by Natalie Morales prior to the show for a special that will air on national TV. Way to go Frank!
As the night went on, Casey Donahew had the crowd dancing with his Texas Country sound, and Wild Horse, Austin Van and Vince Alten Band kept everyone on their feet between main stage acts. Our headliners, Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy, did not disappoint, playing a set filled with energy and paying a special tribute to all military veterans and first responders that the crowd appreciated to no end.
Saturday’s second stage performers, Eli James Band, Tylor Brandon, Vince Alten Band and Saddle Brown kept it rockin’ country style between main stage acts. On the main stage, Jesse G built up the excitement with her powerful vocals, followed up by the master himself, award winning legend Ronnie Milsap. Our headliner and last performance of the night, the Grammy-winning Gretchen Wilson, brought down the house!
Sunday Funday brought more great music with Abe Mac Band warming up the crowd for a performance by the unique Latin blend of Stephanie Urbina Jones and the Honky Tonk Mariachis that had the crowd moving their feet. Fans enjoyed a full day of family fun with food, entertainment and non-stop activities
Thousands of country music fans turned out for the 7th Annual Las Cruces Country Music Festival featuring our most amazing and eclectic lineup yet. Fans enjoyed three days of hootin’ and hollerin’, two-steppin’ and singing along to some of the best in live country music. Local vendors offered up some great eats, our best locally brewed beers and wines and some great country gear and merch. The little cowboys and cowgirls enjoyed lots of country fun in the Kids Area on Friday and Saturday night, and tons of family activities on Sunday Funday. This one will be hard to beat!
One lucky Grand Prize winner won a chance to get up close and personal with a “Meet and Greet” with none other than Gretchen Wilson and 6 other lucky winners enjoyed Weekend Passes for 2 on us!
