Your Checklist For The Las Cruces Country Music Festival 2018 Is Here!

Seven main stage acts including Dwight Yoakam, Sawyer Brown, Randy Houser, Frankie Ballard and more make for one phenomenal weekend of music.

Adding to the fun, CMT Hot 20 Countdown will be in the house broadcasting from the Festival–go to the festival and look for yourself in the crowd on national television!

Grab your boots, your buddies (or your besties), your drink money and your two-steppin’ moves–you’re about to kick it big in the City of Crosses. The Las Cruces Country Music Festival Kicks off THIS Friday and lasts 3 whole days. This is Las Cruces’ signature weekend and you want to be ready for anything it throws at you. ✅ #1 – Last Call for Tickets!

A few things are certain: Las Crucens like their burritos smothered, their Organ Mountains purple at sunset, and their Weekend Passes to the Las Cruces Country Music Festival. This is the best deal that there is. They include Friday, Saturday AND Sunday events at the festival grounds and are just $70 bucks. Individual Day Passes are also available. Tickets available online or at PicQuik, Visit Las Cruces office, and Rio Grande Theatre.

✅ #2 – Watch CMT Hot 20 Countdown

There is no better way to prepare for the festival, than to watch the CMT Hot 20 Countdown. Host Katie Cook will be in Las Cruces THIS weekend doing a special broadcast in the City of Crosses. Tune in this Saturday before the festival opens and imagine yourself amongst the crowd–you might just be when it airs the following weekend!

The weekly, three hour series is hosted by CMT favorites Katie Cook and Cody Alan, who count down the 20 biggest music videos with the hottest news stories, the biggest country music events, live performances and candid interviews from country music’s biggest superstars and up-and-coming artists.

Fan participation is a key component to the show, as fans are able to interact with hosts Alan and Cook via extensive social media integration on Twitter using hashtag #CMThot20, Facebook and Instagram.

This year’s Festival has lots of ways to “Get Your Country On.”

Warm drinks and country music just don’t mix. So grab your “Jump The Line” Cup because the music won’t wait and neither should you.

✅ 5 – Calling all Cowboys! (And Cowgirls)

Dust off your boots, pick out your best jeans, and get ready to dance, sing, sway, and two-step: It’s showtime. Although the cowboy hat is optional, here are the ‘deets you’ll need to know:

Gates open at 5 pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
The festival is at Hadley Sports Complex for the first year ever. But don’t stress, there’s plenty of parking, and wide open skies.

✅ #6 – All Roads Lead to Cruces Country

Visit our Two Main stages, Vendor area for food, Kids Area, and you can’t miss the Festival and Artist Merchandise Tent! Make sure you pay attention to where the Saloon are Outhouses are!

✅ #7 – Don’t Forget your Running Shoes!

Get a run in on Sunday morning at the Whataburger Sunday Funday Giddyup Gallop! A 5K and 10K Fun Run that will have the whole family in a hustle.

✅ #8 – Sisbarro LIVE Truck giveaway onstage at the festival

Zia Country 99.5 and Sisbarro Buick GMC are giving away a truck during the festival! And there are 9 finalists who will find out who is the luckiest of them all. Keep up with them on Facebook this week!

✅ 9 – Find your Spot: Front and Center

The lights are low and you’re harmonizing with Frankie Ballard on stage (whether he knows it or not), you’ve got your Cruces Country hoodie on, and you’re snapping a selfie to show just how right this moment is. So come on down to the Whataburger Sunday Funday for an action-packed day of fun runs, face painting and more fabulous music. Join a good ol’ fashioned Horseshoe Tournament, Abe Mac Band rocking the stage, and Country Music Star Rick Trevino closing out the 2018 festival.
